It's no secret that arm balancing poses in yoga are oftentimes quite challenging and a little intimidating! In this workshop, we demystify a few of the common arm balance poses you may encounter in class and get behind the mechanics and methods to best prepare us both physically and mentally. The poses we'll explore requires a moderate level of strength and flexibility, but equally important is learning to balance the effort with an attitude of being relaxed, open and playful. As yoga practitioners, this balancing act we strive for on the mat filters into the ways in which we can meet challenges and obstacles in our everyday lives, making our experiences all the more richer.
